I know that many of you have tried to get PAR to work without any success, so I thought I’d write up a short guide on how I got PAR working.



First thing you want to do is remove any versions of PAR off of your computer completely. You’ll want to go to:

and scroll down to the post made by popcrdom29 and follow his instructions on removing it.



Now that it’s removed, you’ll want to get yourself a copy of proxyfirewall. This program will allow or block any access of any programs you may have on your computer.

Once you’ve installed proxyfirewall, restart your computer. Now that you have proxyfirewall, open up your browser. Proxyfirewall should pop up asking you if you want to allow it to access the internet, allow it for now.



Next go to PAR’s site and get yourself a new copy. Make sure you use a new email address that you have access to, you’ll need to get the registration code that is sent in the welcome email.

Now install and register PAR. Proxyfirewall should pop up for this also asking for access, allow it for now. Once you finish registering, block PAR’s access to the internet with proxyfirewall.





Now every time you want to use PAR, block your browser’s access w/proxyfirewall and type away. What I do when I’m finished is take several spun copies of my article and paste them into word. Then close PAR, unblock your browser and then submit those articles to article directories.
