I’ve been programming several things lately, one of which is my mass URL shortener (which should hopefully be released soon). However, I decided to take a bit of a break on those today and write up something that I thought would be kinda funny, not super useful, but just something you could play around with.



I decided to make a thread view count increaser. I know it works with vBulletin forums, however I haven’t tested it on other platforms. Honestly, I did not spend more than 30 minutes on the tool, so not much testing went into it anyways. The GUI is the color scheme I always use, but the layout itself isn’t that great, just really basic.



Basically, you enter a URL of a thread in the text box, select a number of views to add to it (1-1,000,000), and hit Start, and you’re good to go. It only uses one thread, to prevent banning of your IP, etc., so it doesn’t go crazy fast. If there is any interest, I can make it multithreaded and proxy supported, I just didn’t think anyone would be interested in something like this.



Before you start telling me how it’s going to be used to abuse BHW, I’ve disabled any kind of BHW thread. Don’t try shortening it with a URL shortener either, it’ll catch that.

But anyways, yeah, pretty simple, the first program that I’m sharing publicly, and there are hopefully 5-10 others I’ll be releasing before year’s end. Let me know what you think.
